July to October 

This is the most popular time to visit the Masai Mara due to the annual wildebeest migration, usually occurring between July and October. Millions of wildebeest and zebra migrate from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara in search of fresh grasses providing incredible wildlife viewing.

The weather is generally dry and cool, with minimal rain.

November to June 

This period is often quieter with fewer safari vehicles. The rainy seasons (April - June and November - December) result in lush, green landscapes and breathtaking scenery.

Many young animals are also born during this time.
