New Gorilla Families
The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has announced the introduction of a new gorilla tracking family for those visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The UWA has kept sustainable tourism and conservation at the top of its priorities during the habituation process. The UWA will now have 194 normal gorilla tracking permits and 4 gorilla habituation experience permits for daily bookings. The addition of these gorilla families promises an enriching experience and gives those visiting Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp more opportunities to observe these rare and majestic creatures up close.
UWA Permit Changes
The UWA have declared a price change in their Conservation Tariff, this will take effect from 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2026. This change occurs as a result of a comprehensive review to ensure that the UWA's pricing remains reasonable and competitive. Therefore, please expect to see changes in the pricing of some of the park activities in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Explore the new permit pricing structure below.
