A mere hour and a half's drive from the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero serves as an ideal base for exploring this magnificent natural wonder. The transfer time to the falls is approximately one and a half hours, subject to border formalities. Upon arrival, an expert guide will accompany guests on a tour of the Falls, sharing intriguing facts and history throughout the journey. During the high water months, Sanctuary Retreats will provide raincoats to protect guests from the Falls' misty spray. The walk, covering a distance of 3km, lasts around 1½ hours and weaves through the rainforest, pausing at various vantage points. Additionally, guests can indulge in some curio shopping at the neighbouring open-air markets before returning to Chobe Chilwero.
